Label printing for the holidays is already upon us, if you can believe it. I walked into the local grocery store and they were already playing holiday music and had an aisle dedicated to Christmas ornaments. What the heck happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving, I ask? Let’s focus on those for the moment before we fa la la ourselves into December. Joking aside, there’s plenty to be done around label printing for all the holidays, so make sure you are prepared.
Label printing does kick up during the 4th quarter because we have a series of major holidays packed into a short period of time. Printers get very busy this time of year; think ahead about your label printing needs so you don’t end up working with an unknown printer, rushing your design process, paying extra for last minute orders or compromising on quality label printing. Determine your print dates by deciding when you want your products to be available and backing into what needs to happen prior to product landing.
